اعلنت مايكروسوفت في مؤتمر برشلونة ، وهومؤتمر العالمي للهواتف ، انه اضحى من الممكن تحميل نسخة ويندوز 8 في نسختة التجريبية ، حيث وكما ذكرت مايكروسفت ان هذه النسخة لحقتها مجموعة من التعديلات والإضافات كتوفير اخر إصدار من انترنت إكسبلورر 10 ، وإضافة العديد من الخدمات السحابية، والقيام بعدة تحسينات عن نسخة المطورين والتي تم انزالها قبل بضعة اشهر مضت ، يمكنك تحميل النسخة الإستعراضية من هنا
